Measurement methods
These are PrintFoot Lab's own definitions, not industry standards. We publish them so the measurements in our notes can be repeated by anyone with basic tools. Example numbers on each page only illustrate the calculation.
- PFL Vent Score – share of the footbed surface that is open
- PFL Rebound Index – thickness recovered after a standard load
- PFL Strut Density – struts per square centimetre at the heel
- PFL Dry-Out Time – minutes to dry after a standard soak
