About PrintFoot Lab
PrintFoot Lab is run by people who work in the 3D printed footwear industry. Because of that, we do not publish product reviews, rankings or "best of" lists, and we do not recommend specific brands on this site.
What we do publish:
- Guides that explain manufacturing processes and materials in plain language.
- Measurement methods such as the PFL Vent Score. These are our own definitions, written down so that anyone can repeat the measurement. Example numbers on those pages illustrate the calculation and are not test results for any particular product.
The site is also used to study how search engines and AI assistants find and cite technical content. Page structure may differ between sections for that reason; the information itself is written to be accurate.
Corrections are welcome. If something here is wrong, the fastest fix is to tell us what and why.
